When Reeves was 15 he became an apprentice at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts. When he was sixteen he had an agent. After he graduated high school, Reeves went to college and tried out for ice hockey but soon decided he would rather stay behind the curtain. Throughout his college years he still acted professionally and his agent sceduled all of his additions around his classes. He studied theatre in Britain and France and was soon employed as a dogsbody, an errand boy, he taught the actors to talk in an American accent. He then moved to Paris and started acting hisself. By the time he graduated from college he had performed in many widely respected theatres. To pay for college he started acting in small films and television series. This was just the beginning of Christopher Reeve's acting career.
